Come join us! We’re recruiting for a Senior or Principal Consultant role with at least 3 years' experience, based at our new Birmingham city centre office.

We’re a small, friendly company who punch well above our weight in the marketplace. We work primarily in the private development sector with nationally recognised land promoters in the housing, employment, retail, and care and education sectors.

The role

As Senior or Principal Consultant, you will play an important role in supporting our clients’ development proposals including:

  • Costing of jobs
  • Attending meetings with the client or authorities
  • Report writing
  • Promoting active and sustainable transport opportunities
  • Junction modelling
  • Financial/project management. 

 About you

You're a self-motivated individual with a minimum of three years’ experience in a private sector consultancy environment, but we always consider applicants on merit rather than experience alone.

You’ll have excellent project management, computer and verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to demonstrate:

  • Experience of producing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
  • Experience of providing access feasibility advice
  • Detailed knowledge of, and the ability to apply appropriate design guidance, i.e. MfS, MfS2, DMRB
  • Experience in the use of relevant software, particularly Junctions 9/10 and LinSig
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft software, i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint;
  • Knowledge of the planning process across the UK
