Travel Plans

Sustainable development is a key element for the success of any planning application.  Transport sustainability needs to consider location to nearby services and facilities and the availability of modes of travel other than single-occupancy car use.

Our Travel Plan reports, from Statements and Frameworks through to Interim and Full Plans, start with an audit of what is currently available and seek to link into and build upon such provision, where necessary, thereby offering the most efficient and commercially viable travel planning solutions. 

Such reports often prepared as part of our overall suite of reports for a development site, however we can also prepare them on an ad-hoc basis; for example, where an existing planning permission is amended, or a developer/employer chooses to introduce one at their existing site. 

Recently we have been involved in preparing Travel Plan packs for developers in order that they can distribute them to the end users of the development in order to fulfil their planning obligations.
